The Pittsburgh Steelers are 4-2 and hold a tie for the AFC North lead with the Baltimore Ravens through six games. Quarterback Justin Fields is a big reason for that, accounting for 10 touchdowns and throwing just one interception in the process, including two rushing scores in a 32-13 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.

Despite the solid overall play through six games, it looks very likely that the Steelers will be starting Russell Wilson in Week 7 against the New York Jets. Fields was asked about the potential switch, and was very open and honest about how he feels about his play, saying it hasn’t been good enough.

“I don’t think I played good enough, if I’m being real with you, if I’m being real with myself,” Fields said. “I think if I did play well enough, I don’t think there would be any sort (questions about) who should be playing, who should not. At the and of the day, we’ve got a few wins. Of course, I’m glad about that, but there’s areas that I could be better at. I’m just gonna continue to work on those and continue to get better.”

Regardless on who starts, you have to appreciate how both quarterbacks have handled this entire situation. While acknowledging the competition, they have both been incredibly mature and built each other up in the process.
