Steelers fall to 8-3 with snowy road loss to the Browns

The Pittsburgh Steelers have fallen to 8-3 after an ugly road loss to the Cleveland Browns (3-8) on a short week. It was a brutal showing with highs and lows (…but mostly lows) …

It was an ugly game from the jump — exactly the type of AFC North game you would have expected when envisioning these two divisional rivals. After starting off as a snowy, but manageable game, the weather escalated throughout the evening, ending in what would probably be labeled by most NFL fans as a full-out blizzard.

The first quarter offered Steelers fans four total first days (3/5 on third-down), but unfortunately, it didn’t last. The Cleveland Browns caught up quickly enough, however. They went on to outpace the Steelers for seven total first downs in the first half, (0-4 on 4th down), and it was all downhill from there.

Quarter three did offer some hope, including a goal-line rush from Jaylen Warren and a 46-yard touchdown to Calvin Austin III. It still wasn’t enough, however. The Steelers fell to 8-3 with their first divisional loss of the season.
