Steelers free agents: Unrestricted free agents, RFAs and ERFAs in 2025

Well, folks, here we are again — another early exit in the playoffs with a very familiar ending. I’m not going through all of the numbers and history of the past exits and the futility of this team in terms of the postseason. Simply, it’s just too darn depressing. However, we will start looking at the future and what that holds for the 2025 Pittsburgh Steelers

Here’s a look at the Steelers’ 2025 free agents, including Exclusive Rights Free Agents (ERFA) and Restricted Free Agents (RFA).

Notes: If the Steelers offer an ERFA a qualifying contract (at least one season at the league minimum for his experience level), the player must accept or sit out the season. The NFL notes that “RFAs are free to negotiate and sign with any team, but their original team can offer them one of various qualifying offers (“tenders”) that come with the right of first refusal and/or draft-pick compensation.”
