Friday Night Happy Hour – Behind the Steel Curtain

Welcome back to BTSC’s Friday night open thread:

This time next week, we’ll be 10 toes deep into the offseason with the NFL Combine underway in Indianapolis. So far BTSC has done profiles on: Derrick Harmon, Kaleb Johnson, and TreyVeyon Henderson. I know Ryland and I will be doing several more over the coming weeks — I’m currently working on Texas WR Matthew Golden — but what players or positions would you like to see highlighted next?
Keep an eye out next week for Read & React to return on Tuesday. Over the next two weeks, we’ll be unveiling each of our offseason blueprints — how we would manage this offseason if we were the Steelers’ GM. But I want to hear from y’all. Looking at the free agent class, trade rumor mill, and draft, who would you pick for the Steelers’ starting QB for 2025? And would you try to trade George Pickens?
Speaking of the offseason, how is everybody spending Sundays now without football? Have you picked up another hobby or responsibility to fill the 3 hours (or more) without a game to watch?
Does anybody have any recommendations for things to watch or read? I’ve wrapped up some shows and have mostly caught up with the Oscar nominations this year and I’m always looking for recommendations. Movies, TV shows, books, games, etc throw out something you’ve enjoyed recently.
