The Pittsburgh Steelers are 5-2 and are staring a 6-2 start in the face if they can take care of business next Monday night against the New York Giants. But as for right now, they are climbing up power rankings around respective outlets. Here’s what they have to say:

Pro Football Talk: No. 9

“There’s plenty of options on a team as young as the Steelers, but it’s hard to choose anyone other than the 24-year-old rookie undrafted free agent after his two interceptions against quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Bishop had a bounce-back performance after getting picked apart by quarterback Dak Prescott two weeks earlier, and he did it in a big way, nearly returning his second career interception for a touchdown. The Steelers entered the season with no obvious heir to the slot corner spot, and it appeared the Steelers would have to get by with Cameron Sutton suspended the first eight games. Bishop, though, is showing why he earned first-team reps early in training camp.”- Brooke Pryor

“Full thoughts on Pittsburgh here from Sunday night’s column. The gist: This may be the first two-QB system to actually work. Russell Wilson is bought in and Justin Fields was not that much worse over a much larger sample size against some pretty legitimate opponents. What is truly fascinating to me is that many established coaches think they can fix players. Mike Tomlin knew he could get Wilson to abandon this ineffective style of play he was carrying around in Denver for something more useful. As Tomlin said himself, that’s why he’s ‘well-compensated.’”- Conor Orr
