Saturday Night Open Thread Offseason Week 19: Chicken Soup for the Solstice! 

Live from Delaware, it’s Saturday Night! I, NAS204PSU, am here to bring you this Saturday Night Open Thread (aka SNOT).

Everyone had the longest day yesterday, the summer solstice. After a long day, what better to soothe the soul than a warm bowl of Chicken Soup for the Soul style questions.

For those unaware, “Chicken Soup for the Soul” was a 90s era book of inspirational stories from real people. The series continued with various target audiences (ie. Chicken soup for the … teenage soul, …teachers soul, … sports fan soul, etc.

So enjoy these questions loaded with positive vibes, warm wishes and too much sodium.

5. From Jen the Good News Girl: a sick stray kitten was rescued and adopted by a couple on their way to their local pizza place. “Pizza”, as the kitten is now named, is healthy and thriving.
