Saturday Tailgate Open Thread: AFC North Pre-game!

Live from Delaware, it’s the AFC North open thread, Pre-game edition! I, NAS204PSU, am here to bring you this Saturday Tailgate Open Thread (aka STOT).

The pre-game warm-up for the AFCNorth Saturday slate is the Bahamas Bowl: Buffalo vs Liberty (ESPN2 at 11AM Eastern). Can Buffalo Bull-doze their way to victory or will Liberty set the stadium a-Flame?

This 6 pack of questions is here to get the conversation going is below, also let us know what you’re eating/drinking!

The betting for Ravens-Browns has Baltimore giving 17.5, o/u at 41.5. This implies a 30-12 ravens victory, with 4 browns FGs. Do you think the browns can keep it more competitive or will the Ravens be resting starters in the 2nd half?
There was much commenting this past weekend through multiple articles on whether Mike Tomlin & company should prioritize resting starters (even healthy) vs playing to “get things right” after 3 losses. Assuming the Ravens win and lock up the division, which is more important: rest (sitting healthy starters) OR rust (playing starters to try to win ahead of the playoffs)?
Other than these Saturday AFCNorth games, what is the best remaining NFL game to watch?
Saquon Barkley is going to sit instead of trying to break the NFL rushing record this week. How much do you think these individual records matter in terms of how players are viewed and should Saquon have tried for it?
The 12-team CFP playoff quarter finals are behind us. After the first round duds, the quarter final had one OT games and the others ended with double digit margins for the winners. What was your favorite game (and why)so far through two rounds of the CFP?
It’s 2025, and if you could give a New Year’s resolution to BTSC (staff or community/commenters), what would it be?

BONUS: Any prediction(s) for the Steelers game ? Put them here for bragging rights next week.
