The Pittsburgh Steelers are heading into their biggest game of the season – a matchup with the Baltimore Ravens with first place in the AFC North on the line. However, the Steelers’ offense looks as if they will be missing an explosive part of their backfield.
Per Alan Saunders of Steelers Now on X, Jaylen Warren wasn’t participating in the ball security drill on Friday, which all but signals he will be out on Sunday against the Ravens.
Warren is dealing with a back injury which kept him out of practice on Thursday. The explosive back missed time earlier this season with injuries to his hamstring and knee. Should Warren be unable to go, a higher workload for Cordarrelle Patterson is to be expected. Patterson played the supporting role very well early on in the season, specifically against the Los Angeles Chargers and Indianapolis Colts before he suffered his own injury that kept him out for an extended amount of time.
