As if the Pittsburgh Steelers didn’t have enough injuries to deal with already, they add another to the list. Edge rusher Alex Highsmith left the game with a groin injury, and he has officially been ruled OUT, Burt Lauten of Steelers PR has announced.

Highsmith played 24 defensive snaps before his exit with one tackle and three pressures in Week 3, per NFL Next Gen Stats.

Luckily, the Steelers have Nick Herbig who has shown to be more than capable of being a starter and getting constant pressure.

The Steelers already lost wide receiver Van Jefferson during the game with an eye injury and are down to three receivers offensively, so injuries have not been their friend early on.
