The Pittsburgh Steelers are headed out west to Las Vegas this week to face the Raiders in their sixth game of the season. The Steelers enter this matchup at 3-2 as 3-point road favorites on FanDuel Sportsbook — a matchup in which, on paper, they should be able to manage a win.

The Raiders are making a quarterback change this week in the absence of several key offensive weapons, including potential trade target Davante Adams among others, with a banged-up Maxx Crosby and offensive line.

Kickoff is set for 4:05 p.m. ET from Allegiant Stadium, where the Steelers managed a 23-18 victory over the Raiders just last season.

George Pickens OVER 48.5 receiving yards (-113)

Steelers WR George Pickens has been the topic of much discussion this week — eye black, late arrivals to work, trade rumors and the like have dominated the conversation following a week where he played the fewest offensive snaps in any NFL game (regular or postseason) in his career per NFL Next Gen Stats. Still, the locker room appeared to have his back this week despite narratives from the national media, and this matchup could serve as a get-right moment for the young wideout.

Pickens has accounted for just over 57% of the team’s receiving yards at wide receiver this year, and the Raiders are allowing 139 receiving yards per game to the position. Pickens has exceeded this receiving-yard total in three of five games in 2024 and managed a 4-75-0 line against this unit in Week 3 of last season.

Brock Bowers OVER 49.5 receiving yards (-113)

The Las Vegas Raiders will be without their top receiving option Davante Adams in this contest, while WR Jakobi Meyers is doubtful with an ankle injury and TE Michael Mayer was placed on the NFI list this week, set to miss at least four games. With that, we’ll expect the Raiders to turn to their first-round rookie early and often in this one.

Bowers is averaging 62.6 receiving yards per game, currently leading all tight ends with 313 receiving yards. Though the Steelers rank bottom 10 in yards per reception allowed to opposing tight ends this season, expect volume to give Bowers a lift against this defensive unit, currently running short on edge rushers due to injury.

Jaylen Warren OVER 20.5 rushing yards (-113)

Steelers RB Jaylen Warren is returning to the active lineup this week after missing each of the past two games with a knee injury. His return couldn’t come at a better moment, either, as Pittsburgh has struggled to run the ball in his absence, and they’re also without RB3 Cordarrelle Patterson, currently out with an ankle injury.

Starting RB Najee Harris has struggled to this point in the season, averaging an abysmal 3.3 yards per rush attempt that ranks third-lowest among RBs with 50+ carries with the sixth-lowest yards after contact per carry average at 2.49 yards. Expect the Steelers to get Warren involved early against this Raiders run defense that ranks top eight in rushing yards per attempt, yards after contact per attempt and 17th in explosive run rate allowed this year — all areas in which Warren excels.
