The Pittsburgh Steelers nearly completed a 12-point fourth-quarter comeback win over the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night. A Calvin Austin touchdown grab put them on top 19-18 after going down 18-6 following a Jameis Winston touchdown run. Unfortunately, the Steelers’ defense allowed the Browns to score with less than a minute left and Pittsburgh fell to 8-3.
Following the clock hitting triple zeroes, receiver George Pickens and Browns cornerback Greg Newsome got into a fight that had to be broken up and the two men had to be separated. Following the game, Pickens blamed the conditions for the loss and said the Browns were a bad team.
I don’t really think the Cleveland Browns are a good team at all,” Pickens said. “I think the conditions kind of saved them today.”
George Pickens on the loss to the Browns: “Conditions played a huge, huge part in today’s game. I don’t really think the Cleveland Browns are a good team at all. The conditions kinda saved them.”

The Steelers will see the Browns in two weeks in Pittsburgh for the second matchup of the season series. We’ll see if Pittsburgh can redeem themselves when the time comes.
